Works fine. Moderate difficulty to do the part swap

Done on a CR-240A unit. Removing the old WAV was more complicated because the wiring harness was tangled with other wiring - so several other connectors had to be unplugged to free the WAV wires. No big deal, just frustrating. The tangle probably occurred during initial product assembly without regard to later removal of individual parts. The Navien o-rings appear to be a proprietary size, so having the exact OEM spares would be wise. I was lucky and able to re-use the originals. Make sure there is plumbing grease on the o-rings and fittings during re-assembly. Getting the old WAV out of the Cold Water Inlet Adapter took some force, because the o-ring was quite tight. I also removed the Flow Adjustment Valve Outlet pipe from the WAV and from the Buffer Tank Adapter - that was easy, and allowed more working room to remove (and install) the WAV. Inserting the new WAV into the Cold Water Inlet also took quite a bit of force. I partially attached the Fastener Clip when the WAV was almost fully seated, and then continued to wiggle and press until the clip was able to lock the flanges together. Then re-assembled the Outlet pipe unit to the WAV and Buffer adapter Then re-attached the wiring connectors. Double check that all the fastener clips are secure, and SLOWLY open the cold water valve while carefully watching for any leaks. My old WAV was dripping water, and the new WAV fixed that. It is not an easy simple 'parts swap' (for a first time DIYer) because of the tight working space, and the force needed to remove and install the WAV from the cold water inlet. It took me several hours to complete. .
